You may remember me, or maybe not. I was working with Adam, your Wildwood Linen rep on a day he serviced your location. I saw the Gold Record on the wall, and asked you about it. I was so intrigued meeting you. I still tell the story of that day to any oldies fan I meet.
Since I saw you last, I no longer reside in South Jersey, now living Northwest New Jersey in Washington Township, Warren County.
I wish you luck as you continue your concerts, and will certainly be watching your schedule for a concert I will be able to attend.

Hello,

I was googling on the Internet for more information about The Dovells and The Magistrates, when I found your site. It's beautiful !

I'm very curious how the Magistrates version of 'Here comes the judge' sounds like. I read somewhere it's better than Shorty Long's version. Is it possible to buy an MP3's of this particular song ? Unfortunately I couldn't find that kind of information on your website, so I want to ask you these questions:

- is it possible to order MP3's ?

- what does an MP3 of the Magistrates' record "Here comes the judge/ Girl" (so including the flip side) cost ? And just the A-side ?

- and last but not least, how can I pay you ? Do you perhaps accept PayPal ? Because that would be very convenient, because transfering money from Holland to America is very expensive for me (and difficult as well).

Hope to hear from you soon.

With friendly greetings from The Netherlands,

Henri Norberhuis

Comments: A SUREAL MOMENT WHILE DRIVING TODAY:

Today, while driving thru Bristol, PA, and listening to WPEN-950 AM (pre 1964 oldies radio in Philly) the song...
"BRISTOL STOMP" - DOVELS
came on the radio

(how strange is that???)

lol

A few years ago, I was interviewed on a radio program and the host asked me...

"Bob what's your favorite Philly song"?

I replied without hesitation...
"BRISTOL STOMP" - DOVELS

The guy's eyes looked like they were gonna pop out of his head. He told me that he expected me to name something from the "Philly International", Gamble/Huff era.

I said...

"Bristol Stomp is slamin and jammin man, why shouldn't I like it"

Then he said...

"Ok Bob, what's your second favorite Philly song..."?

I said (once again without hesitation)....

"Where do all the hippies meet, SOUTH STREET, SOUTH STREET...."

He said....
"Man you are impossible.....lol"

I said...
"Hey man, I'm a hippie and SOUTH STREET always sounded like my kinda place..."

So today when I was driving thru BRISTOL, PA and heard... "BRISTOL STOMP" - DOVELS, while listening to my NEW favorite radio station, WPEN-950 AM, pre 1964 oldies radio in Philly

(I have TOTALLY given up on Knee-gro radio station WDAS-FM at this point......lol)

it was indeed a "sureal moment", thatmade me think back to that interview.

I guess in the minds of the people who figure out things like "radio demographics", little
black boys from Brooklyn aren't really supposed to like songs like "BRISTOL STOMP" - DOVELS or
"SOUTH STREET" - ORLONS.

Anyway, that was pretty cool for me to hear the song, right at that moment in time!

Comments: I like your homepage. It’s great ,many informations.

The Nashville Line Dancers Aalen (NLDA) have been performing this dance style with great enthusiasm already for several years. The group performs more than 130 dances of the category Country Line Dance and is regarded as one of Germany’s top Show Line Dancers. Elvis songs are presented in the best Line Dance fashion.

‘’Tribute To The King Of Music & Viva Las Vegas Dance Show’’ – their dance show is viewed as unique in Germany. They also act as background dancers in the show of the great, internationally well known Elvis double Jack Favor, who is also known as ‘’Eifel-Elvis’’, ffice ffice" />

‘’ the best Elvis since Elvis ’’.

Their many performances speak for themselves: NLDA is Line Dance Show at it’s best.

NLDA targets at having Line Dance (which originally supported only Country and Western Music) mingled with other music styles such as Elvis music, pop music etc.

Thus Line Dance shall be opened to a broader audience and it shall be shown to the puplic, how divers this dance style with nowadays more than 4000 different dances can be.

Thanks again for the tickets.  Show was so great at the Lenape Performing Arts Center!  I had never heard you sing the Elvis song/bit.  Fantastic.  Also, I can´t believe I got tongue tied talking to Bobby Rydell - what an idiot I am.  But everything was wonderful.  I love youz guyz!!!  This has to be the best one yet.  See you soon!
Love,Dot.

Comments: Saw your show in Chambersberg at the Capital Theater.  It was one of the best times we´ve ever had.  You guy sounded great and we´re still laughing a week later at some of your comedy.   Can´t wait till you come back.  Thanks for a great night.  John & Mary
